Stereoscopic files
In order to have your stereoscopic files working correctly with Fullscreen Photo Viewer they need to meet following format and naming convention criteria:Format:
Graphic file should contain two images next to each other, there should be no gap between the two images and no borders around them. The two images should have exactly the same width (so the horizontal resolution of the whole image should be even) and aligned/cropped correctly so the image for left and right eye match perfectly. The order is not important, i.e. the file might contain either image for the left eye on the left and then image for the right eye on the right or vice-versa. However, the order of the images should be reflected in proper naming convention (see below).
Naming convention:
In order to be recognized as stereoscopic file, the file has to use the double extension convention. The "first" extension indicates that the file is stereoscopic and what is the order of images (left-right or right-left), the second extension is the standard extension indicating graphic file format.
The images containing image for the left eye on the left side should have first extension set to "stereo", while images containing image for the right eye on the left side and the image for the left eye on the right (crossed) should have first extension set to "stereo-x".
So for example, if you have stereoscopic image file named "Sun.png" that contains image for the left eye on the left side and image for the right eye on the right side you should rename the file to "Sun.stereo.png". On the other hand if you had a stereoscopic image file named "Flower.jpg" containing image for the right eye on the left side and image for the left eye on the right side, you would need to rename it to "Flower.stereo-x.jpg".
Once you start viewing such renamed files with Fullscreen Photo Viewer then you can toogle between 3D mode and normal mode by pressing F9. To view files in 3D mode you will need red-cyan glasses.
